You will need to connect that (via a TOSLINK cable) to your receiver. The xbox 360 will also send Dolby Digital/DTS across the Optical SPDIF connector (my xbox360 VGA connector has it). So check the manual and see if you can get analog surround sound to work. This depends on the model of your amp/speakers, your amp/speakers might include a ProLogic decoder (they aren't difficult or expensive to build really). If your receiver supports prologic II, you will get 5 channel audio out of your speakers. ![]() For what i remember, the xbox360 will send stereo/dolby pro logic II across the analog left/right.
